Paste Selection as new image
To paste a selection as new an image
- Once you have copied or cut a selection on an image, you can paste the selection as a new image. Go to Edit > Paste As new image...
- A new window will appear with the selected image occupies the window. To merge the selection, simply click on the selection with the right mouse button or click outside the selection with left mouse button.
Notes:
- Before making a selection, set the option Copy and drag or Cut and drag from the Selection tab in the Tool Settings window.
- If you want to copy or cut a selection to the clipboard, click on Edit > Copy, Edit > Cut or simply click on the Copy or Cut icon in the Tool Bar.
- You can't zoom IN/OUT while a region is selected.
- Remember to merge the selection to the new image after pasting.
