Selection Layer

To select an image region with Free Hand Select tool

1. In the Tools Bar, click on Free Hand Select icon, to select an irregular area.
2. Click on the image and drag the mouse pointer to draw the area.

Notes:

1. Before making a selection, set the option Copy and drag or Cut and drag from the Selection tab in the Tool Settings window.
2. If you want to copy or cut a selection to the clipboard, click on Edit > Copy, Edit > Cut or simply click on Copy or Cut icon in the Tool Bar.
3. You can't zoom IN/OUT while a region is selected.
4. To deselect an active selection, just press the Delete button.
5. After selecting a region, a selection layer will be created. You can resize the new layer by dragging the corner of the selection border.
