Export Log
This optional feature is suggested by Max Secure Customer Support if users are having any particular Spyware Related issues on their PC. Clicking on the Export Log button emails the scanned entries by Spyware Detector on the users' PC with the Quarantine status, with their permission to Max Secure Technical Customer Support Team. This log also includes strategically defined Registry entries commonly infected by Spyware.
These logs help Customer Support Team to help customers by either suggesting them to manually remove certain entries if they are not part of Spyware Detector fingerprint definitions yet or Research more on those Spyware so that next Live updates would carry these fingerprints and remove such Spyware automatically. It also enables us to analyze the new, emerging Spyware Threats and help User community.
Max Secure Software does not use any of this information for contacting users or publishing this information any where. Its only purpose is to aid customers in getting rid of Spyware.

When you click on the Export Log button, a new window opens up containing the report to be sent to the Research team.
You can enter you Email address and (optionally) add any comments to before hitting the "Click Here To Send Log" button. This information helps our Research team track the log and contact you if necessary. Click on the "Click Here To Send Log" button. You will not receive any confirmation email. However, if our Research team determines that some spyware infestation on your system is particularly harmful and needs to be fixed immediately they will contact you via the email address you provided.
You can view the same report at any time by clicking on the View Log link in the main window. This will open a web page that lists the contents of Spyware Detector's scanned entry log. |
