Winlogon Notify Monitor
- Windows looks in the Notify registry key for a DLL that handle event like logon, logoff, startup, shutdown, startscreensaver, and stopscreensaver etc.
- Winlogon Notify Monitor actively monitors all the Notify registry entry and protects users' PC against spyware at the entry point.
- If the Advanced Registry monitor option is checked, Spyware Detector continuously monitors Notify registry entry if a Live Monitoring Notification check is ON.
- When any program tries to cerate an Spyware entry in this registry location, Spyware Detector removes the entry and Notifies the user with a message “spyware Winlogon Notify entry is being removed successfully! We would recommend scanning Spyware Detector in Full Scan mode”
- For any other entry not currently on our Spyware database, user is prompted to make a decision whether he wants to install this registry entry. To allow this entry click ‘Yes’ and to block click ‘No’
