Network Rules

On "Network" tab you can manage the trusted network zones. Network zone includes the following information:

  • address or address range;
  • description;
  • flag to allow NetBIOS.

Network Rules

notebook hard drive data recovery ntfs file undelete recover undelete files
restore damaged photos send sms alerts windows installer software
flash file recovery invisible key logger monitoring software

If "Network" rules are enabled, then every time when any program tries to access network/internet, then SSM intercepts this action.

In "Network" section of application's special permissions there are two options, that specify whether SSM allows application:

  • accessing trusted addresses;
  • accessing untrusted addresses.

If the options are "ask user", then SSM asks a user to make the decision about this action in "Network access" Application Activity dialog. In case of allow/block values, SSM uses the list of trusted network zones and checks whether the accessing address falls in any of enabled trusted network zones.
