Services Module

A service is basically a program that starts automatically with the operating system before a user logs in. System programs and programs providing additional security (anti-virus scanners, firewalls etc.) usually start as services. Legitimate changes of the set or state of installed services may most likely occur during new program installation, that means that such changes should be only allowed for the programs which the user is going to use.
