Volume Controls

If these controls are not visible. make sure the 'View/Hidden Horizontal Panel' toolbar, View/Hidden Horizontal Panel, is depressed. You can toggle between the 'Timer/Volume Control', Volume Control, to view the control you want.

You can adjust the volume during either a Recording or Playing session.

Input Device is the sound card or device that controls the sound in your computer. Input line is the separately lines which are controlled by the sound device such as the Mic, Line-In, CD player etc. You can adjust the left/right balance by adjusting the vertical slider and the volume by adjusting the horizontal slider.

You can mute the sound by unchecking the 'Select' checkbox. Some Input Lines show the 'Advance' button if they have extra properties which you can adjust.
