Quick Start

The Quick Start section describes the succession of actions you should take to perform conversion.

To convert flash video to one of the popular video formats or extract audio from your video, follow the next steps:

Step 1. Specifying URL or adding video file

To add your flash video stored locally, click the File button located at the top of the Movavi Flash Converter window or select Add Video... from the File menu and select a necessary file in the tree. Click Open. As a result, the video wil be added to the Source File area.

To add the URL of an online flash video, click the URL button located at the top of the Movavi Flash Converter window or select Add URL... from the File menu and enter the URL of your flash video. As a result, the video wil be added to the Source File area.

Step 2. Selecting the video to be converted

In the Source File area select the video that you want to convert. Note that you can convert several files at once: to do so, select check boxes next to necessary videos or use the Shift and Ctrl keys for multiple selection.

Step 3. Selecting output format

From the Output format list select the video format of file to which the flash video should be converted.

Step 4. Specifying presets

From the Presets list located next to the Output format field select a necessary level of quality or specific video parameters for the converted video.

Step 5. Selecting output directory

Click to select a directory into which a converted file should be saved.

Step 6. Converting

Click or select Convert... from the File menu.

Your flash video will be converted and saved into the specified directory.

NOTE: Movavi Flash Converter is an online video converter: make sure you do not lose Internet connection during conversion. Otherwise conversion will be aborted.
