Selection

You can select a rectangular portion of the image by dragging with the primary mouse button down to define the selection. The current selection is indicated by a dotted outline around the region. To deselect the current selection, click the primary mouse button outside the selected region, or use the "Edit | Select none" menu command.

Once you have made a selection, you can:

- add effects (Negative, Grayscale)
- print the selected region
- copy/cut the selected region to the clipboard
- crop the selected region.
