- Multi-file rename: Confirm a request to rename multiple files.
- Multi-file rename undo: Confirm a request to reverse a previous multi-file rename.

- Catch Up operations: Confirm requests to catch up iTunes with tags
or tags with iTunes .
- Other file saves: Confirm before overwriting file types that are not iTunes-related.
- Other file operations: Confirm before file delete, file move, creation of tag data for one type of tag by using tag data from another.
- Tag Compression: Confirm a request to compress ID3v2 tags in selected MP3s (MainMenu > MP3 > Compress ID3v2 tags, or <Alt+F1>).
- Tag Conversion: Confirm requests to convert ID3v2.3 tags to ID3v2.4 tags in selected files, or vice versa ( (see MainMenu > MP3). Also controls confirmation requests for data swaps, and paste and edit events for the Musician Credit List column when editing ID3v2.3 tags. Since version 2.3 does not support the Musician Credits List, an ID3v2.3 tag must be upgraded to ID3v2.4 in order to enter data into this column. Confirmation is requested for this operation when this option is checked.
- Tag Removal: When checked, the user is asked to confirm a request to remove tags from selected files.
- Tag Errors: Most non-critical errors detected by the program while reading or writing tags are not reported by the program unless this option is checked. Errors detected by the operating system are not affected by this setting.
- Whole-tag paste: Confirm requests to paste data from multiple tag fields in one tag into other files (see PasteDown Panel).
- Warn if no change: When this option is enabled and there have been no changes resulting from a Preview, Rename, or Undo, the user is informed that no changes have resulted from these actions.
