Tags Button Bar

Link to iTunes: When enabled, changes made to tag data are automatically propagated into corresponding fields in the iTunes XML library, if the file is listed there. When linking is enabled, files listed in the Editor that are also listed in the iTunes library (and thus subject to the link) are shown with light blue-colored row number cells (note rows 2 through 5 above).
Catch up tags with library changes: Compares library and tag data and replaces tag data with library data where they differ (Ctrl+Alt+6). This function does not remove data, and will only change or add data where they differ.
Save or Restore iTunes archive: Executes the archive editor. Saves a copy of an iTunes library, or installs one back again into iTunes (Shif+F8).
Update iTunes library (Shift+F7): Saves changes made to the iTunes XML libary file, "iTunes Music Library.xml," if linked to iTunes. If the iTune's compressed library file exists ("iTunes Library.itl"), and it is not zero-length, backup copies of both these files are made first, then stored in the "Backups Folder" specified in Preferences (by default, the subfolder "Backups" in the install folder). A zero-length ITL file is installed in place of the original ITL file. This induces iTunes to load from the replacement XML file when next it runs. You can suppress the creation of backups during this process, if desired, by holding the Control Key depressed while executing.
File Presence Indicators: Indicator "ITL" is dark in color when an iTunes ITL library file ("iTunes Library.itl") is found to be present in the iTunes folder (and file length is greater than 0). Indicator "XML" is dark in color when an iTunes XML library file ("iTunes Music Library.xml") is found present. These Indicators appear faint when their respective files are not found.
File-changed indicator: Visible whenever one or more changes have been logged for the iTunes XML library file.
Use the Browse button to select a folder path to view. Only data fields that physically exist in tags are editable in this mode, even when linking to iTunes. Columns that represent iTunes-only data fields (thus do not have a corresponding tag field) cannot be made visible in this mode.
