Tracks & Sets
Access
Tracks and sets on the Main Editor pages are always manually editable. However, when this option is set to "Spinner," a "number spinner" appears in each track and set cell when selected, allowing easy increment or decrement of numbers in these cells.
Allow Leading Zeros
Set this check box to enable leading zeros in track and set columns. When disabled, leading zeros are automatically removed from track and set numbers when entered or displayed. Leading zero support is not applicable to ID3v1 tags, nor is it available when the Access method above is set to "Spinner."
Allow track/set > tracks/sets
Set to allow "track" and "set" numbers entered to be larger than corresponding "tracks" or "sets" numbers, and to allow "tracks" and "sets" numbers entered to be smaller than corresponding "track" or "set" numbers, when they exist. When unchecked and manually entering an out-of-bounds track- or set- type number, a warning is issued and the update is refused. When unchecked and the number is entered via an automated edit function, the out-of-bounds number is removed.
"Tracks" string when no track
In most tags, track and total track numbers are stored together as a single, slash-separated string (e.g. track 4 of a total of 12 tracks is stored as text "4/12" in the tag itself). If there is no track number present when a track string is added or updated in a tag, the missing track number can be represented in one of two ways, either by including a leading zero in the string (e.g. "0/12"), or by excluding any number from in front of the slash (e.g. "/12").
Include total tracks/sets in tag: Uncheck to disallow the alteration of total tracks and total sets numbers in tags. When not checked, tracks and sets number can be deleted, cut, or copied, but they cannot be changed to a different number (other than zero).
