Start or Stop Monitoring

Start Monitoring Automatically

To load a map and start monitoring of this network from the command line , type

• NetworkView <filename> /M

For example:

• C:\NetworkView3\networkview f:\test\mymap /M

The monitoring process is automatically started after a 5 seconds.

Stopping Monitoring

• With the currently monitored view selected, click on the Monitor button in the Operation toolbar . This button is a two-states button, and it will go back to the OFF status.
• All nodes will return to the unmonitored state again (white).
• All alerts are disabled.
