Update Node Information

Right click on the node, or use the menu Edit, Update.

Select one of the 3 available entries:

• Refresh: values are updated. Manual information is kept.
• Renew: the node is erased and discovered again
• Update with Select: you select what parameters you want with the regular Settings button that gives access to the Discovery Options.
• Choose Type From Database if you want to refresh the node type (Server, router, ...). NetworkView will search in the SNMP and MAC OUI databases if it finds a more accurate type using the sysObjectID and the 6 first digits of the MAC. This can be useful when you add new values regularly.
