Menu and Toolbar
When you first start some of the programs in OrgScheduler system, you may be surprised by what you see. The menus and toolbars in some programs have been replaced with the Ribbon (as it appears in Microsoft Office 2007).

The Ribbon is designed to help you quickly find the commands that you need to complete a task. Commands are organized in logical groups, which are collected together under tabs.
The Ribbon Application Button located at the top-left corner of the OrgScheduler window provides access to the Ribbon Application Menu. This menu contains the most common application commands.

Visually, the menu is divided into two panels:
- The main menu (left panel).
- The extra panel that contains a list of shortcuts, such as recently used files.
Always keep the Ribbon minimized.
Click Customize Quick Access Toolbar.

- In the list, click Minimize the Ribbon.
- To use the Ribbon while it is minimized, click the tab you want to use, and then click the option or command you want to use.
The Ribbon context menu is divided into 3 logical groups:
- Check box menu items that allow users to control the visibility of associated bar items in the bar;
The Show Quick Access Toolbar Above the Ribbon (Show Quick Access Toolbar Below the Ribbon) menu item – allows users to position the Quick Access Toolbar at either the top or the bottom of the Ribbon;
- The Add to Quick Access Toolbar (Remove from Quick Access Toolbar) menu item – allows users to add (or remove) new bar items to the Quick Access Toolbar;
- The Minimize the Ribbon menu item – allows users to hide the tab page panel in the view.

The Quick Access Toolbar allows users to access frequently used commands regardless of the currently selected tab (right-click).
- Open - you can find the before stored files of the OrgCalendar format (*.orgs).
- Save - saves the scheduling data in the OrgCalendar format (*.orgs). When you save a file that is untitled, the Save As dialog opens. Type a name in the File Name box and click Save or press Enter.
- Import From -> Outlook - you can easily import data from the Microsoft Outlook's Calendar to your OrgScheduler. It doesn't matter which version of Outlook you use.
- Import From -> *.ocf file - a option from an earlier release maintained for backwards compatibility.
- Synchronize with Outlook - changes to data transfer operations between Orgscheduler and Microsoft Outlook®. Previous versions of the Orgscheduler only allow data to be moved. Bidirectional synchronization between the two applications has now been added. The main feature of the Orgscheduler sync service is smart update. It must ensure that no replicates are allowed regardless of how many times the procedures are invoked.
- Export To -> Outlook - you can export data to the Microsoft Outlook's Calendar from OrgScheduler.
- Export To -> Excel - you can export data to the Microsoft Excel from OrgScheduler.
- Export To -> Text - you can export data to the TXT-file from OrgScheduler.
- Export To -> Html - you can export data to the HTML-file from OrgScheduler.
- Export To -> Xml - you can export data to the XML-file from OrgScheduler.
- Export To -> *.ocf file - a option from an earlier release maintained for backwards compatibility.
- Delete All - deletes all the events from current OrgScheduler's OrgCalendar.
Different types of view provide different formats for scheduling and viewing.

Select the "Always Show Event Time" checkbox to always display your event’s times regardless of whether its time bounds match the time blocks currently shown in the scheduling area or not:
or
The OrgScheduler control provides many types of views: Day/Week/Month/Quarter/Year, All Days or Work Days Only and Vertical/Horizontal Timeline views.
Below are images demonstrating Horizontal Timeline views:

In the Horizontal Timeline view the events are chronologically ordered from left to right along a timescale.
