Synchronize Computer Clock

This feature will read the time from another computer on the internet and adjusts the time on your computer if needed.

When the synchronize window first comes up, the Internet clock is at 88:88:88 meaning that it hasn't checked the internet clock yet. When you click Next, it will connect to a server, in this case the atomic clock at NIST.gov, and get the time. It will adjust for time zone difference and recommends a new clock time. If the time on your computer should be 1:05PM and the suggested time is 7:05PM then the time zone on your computer is not properly set.
