Antispy
A growing number of Windows services and application programs like to “phone home” and inform Microsoft or their manufacturers about a variety of things, ranging from crash reports to user behavior. Many users don’t like this and at least want to be able to choose whether these programs should do this or not. The new AntiSpy module provides settings that let you control the “spying” behavior of both Windows and these programs. The settings let you control and stop this behavior to protect your privacy and security, for example for Windows Media Player, the Windows error reporting service and others. Configuration options are included for a number of Windows system settings, Windows Media Player, the Windows error reporting service and others.
Procedure
There are two ways to increase your AntiSpy security. The advanced users may prefer to edit the setting manually (1). In this case click at Edit settings manually and choose the functions on the left (3). Please read the descriptions carefully, our developer team put time and energy into it.
To optimize the settings (2) automatically is a safe and comfortable way. Just click at Optimize the settings automatically and click at OK to confirm. You'll need to reboot the system to activate the new settings.
