Procedure

1: Start the Program

Click on the Registry Optimizer entry in the main menu of the Ashampoo WinOptimizer 6.

2: Select the task you would like to perform

Start new scan

Using this radio button will start Registry Cleaning search.

Configure settings

Select the Configure options for this module button and check that the search options correspond to what you want to search for. See Options for details on the options of this module.

Manage backups

If you would like to restore or delete the backup files which where created by the Registry Optimizer use this option.

3: Perform the selected task:

Perform the selected task by pressing the appropriate button.
