Registry Optimizer

Registry Optimizer seeks out and deletes redundant entries in the Windows® registry. This can speed up your system by reducing the size of the registry, which reduces the processing overhead required every time the registry is accessed. See The Windows® Registry for a more detailed explanation of the registry and why keeping it clean is a good idea. Registry Optimizer can also find and delete registry entries that can compromise your privacy and security. In the screenshot below you see the main dialog of the Registry Optimizer.

Don't change the options settings unless you know what you're doing! Always read the instructions of the dialogs BEFORE changing the options of the function modules. Use the default settings if you are inexperienced. The default settings are safe and will only find items that can be safely deleted. If you are not sure about setting the options just leave the standard settings as they are. This will produce good cleanup performance with maximum protection for your system.
