Health Monitors

The main PC Surgeon page contains 4 health monitors. The monitor backgrounds are normally the default system color, but will turn red when the actual value exceeds the user-defined high threshholds.

To configure each monitor, right click on the monitor to make the PC Surgeon configuration page appear. (Use the "Configure" button under the "File" menu option).

The following data can be monitored:

  • Memory Load in % used, includes a high and low percentile marker.
  • CPU Load in % used, includes a high percentile marker.
  • Storage drive monitor. Indicates percent of drive used, shows total and free space.
  • IP LAN throughput monitor. Shows the number of packets per second being sent or received by the default LAN card.
