Secure Erasing Setting

From this window you can change Anti Tracks Secure Erasing settings.

Settings	Description
Enable secure Erasing	Selecting this option will allow Anti Tracks to securely delete each deleted file during the erasing process.

File Overwrite Options

Settings	Description
DOD 5220.22-M	Overwrites each deleted file 3 times with random characters based on the US Department of Defense (DOD) 5220.22-M directive.
Gutmann	Overwrites each deleted file 35 times using different patterns each time. This overwrite process is based on a 1996 paper by Peter Gutmann.
US National Security Agency (NSA) guidelines	Overwrites each deleted file 7 times with random characters based on the US National Security Agency (NSA) guidelines.
Custom	Overwrites each deleted file based on your selected file overwrite options.

Custom

Settings	Description
Overwrite all file contents with random characters	Selecting this option will write random characters to the deleted file content.
Overwrite all file contents with zero character.	Selecting this option will write character zeros to the entire file.
Overwrite all file contents with one character.	Selecting this option will write character one to the entire file.
Scramble file/ folder name	Selecting this option will scramble the deleted File/ Folder name.
Number of times to overwrite file	Select the number of times you wish the deleted file to be overwritten (Maximum 99).
