| Temp Folder |
This directory stores temporary files that are used during installation of programs and at other times by installed programs. This folder is usually (C:\Windows\Temp) [Windows 95 and 98], (C:\WINNT\Temp) [Windows NT and 2000], or (C:\Documents and Settings\[user name]\Temp) [Windows XP]. Selecting this option will erase the contents of this directory. |
| Recent Documents History |
Windows saves a list of the last 15 document files that you have accessed, allowing any of these documents to be reopened simply by clicking on the name of the document. Selecting this option will erase this list. |
| Run History |
The start menu keeps a history of commands you entered into the Run Window found at Start > Run. Selecting this option will erase the Run history. After erasing it is recommended that you restart your computer to completely erase the Run History. |
| Find/ Search Files - Folders History |
Windows keeps a list of Files/Folders that you have most recently searched for. Selecting this option will allow you to erase this list and prevent others from seeing Files/Folders you may have searched for. |
| Find/ Search Computer History |
Windows keeps a list of Computers that you have most recently searched for. Selecting this option will allow you to erase this list and prevent others from seeing computers you may have searched for. |
| Recycle Bin |
Selecting this option will make Anti Tracks erase out all of the files that are contained in the Recycle Bin. Please Note that by selecting this option Anti Tracks will clean all the Recycle Bins on all drives on your computer (including any network drives you have mapped). |
| Last Logon History |
Windows stores information about recently Logged in users. Selecting this option will allow you to erase this information. Windows save filenames that you opened and saved in the system registry. Selecting this option will erase this list. |
| RAS Auto Dial History |
Clean Windows autodial history. |
| Network Cache |
Selecting this option will erase history of network neighborhood history containing locations you have visited in your local area network (LAN). |
| Telnet History |
Selecting this option will erase most recently visited servers in Windows Telnet. |
| Clipboard |
When using Windows applications, any time you select a Copy command, the data is placed in the Windows clipboard so that it may be accessed by any other application. Selecting this option will erase the clipboard contents. |
| Open/ Save History |
Windows save filenames that you opened and saved in the system registry. Selecting this option will erase this list. |
| Scandisk (*.chk) Files |
Windows ScanDisk program [Windows 95 and 98] or the error-checking program (Windows 2000 and XP) creates (*.chk) files. These files do not normally contain data you need, and their file names end in (.chk). Selecting this option will erase all (.chk) files on your hard disk. |
| Application Logs |
Under Windows 98, logs are kept on how often you run your programs. Selecting this option enables erasing of those logs. |
| Registry Backup |
Selecting this option will erase all registry backups of the registry entries found on your hard drive. |
| Registry Fragmented Files |
Most programs leave garbage in the windows registry that can be recovered |
| Registry Streams |
Registry Streams contains information about recent changes you made to the Windows registry. Selecting this option does not delete the registry changes. It will only erases Windows' "memory" that you recently made the changes. |
| Paging (SWAP) File |
Selecting this option will clear the paging file (also called swap file) that Windows uses to store parts of programs and files that do not fit into memory. (Windows NT/2000/XP ONLY). |
