URL Filters
Server Filters
Server Protocols
- Load only starting protocol
WebCloner will only retrieve files frrom the same protocol as the Start URLs of the project
- Load all protocols
WebCloner will only retrieve files regardless of their protocol
- Load the starting protocol and...
All files matching the protocols(s) of the Start URLs, plus the protocol(s) selected in this page will be included.
Server Keywords
- Follow appropriate domains
Check this to have WebCloner perform pattern-matyching analyisis on the domains of files. E.G.: With this option selected, if one of your Start URLs contains the string "google.com" WebCloner will download files from similar/related domains, like "google-mail.com" or "mail.google.com".
- Keywords
Use this if you want WebCloner to apply inclusion/exclusion filters on files based on the name of the domain they are about to be retrived from. You can enable/disable the usage of all the keywords in your Included/Excluded keywords by selecting/deselecting the Keywords checkbox, OR you can enable/disable any of the listed keywords by selecting/deselecting the checkbox in front of it.
When deciding which files to include or exclude from its download list, WebCloner uses the Folders Filter to compare the location of analyzed files with the location of the start URLs. Below are the settings you can apply to this filter:
Directories Rules
- Load files only from starting directory and below
WebCloner will only retrieve files from the same folder as the start URLs (including its subfolders).
- Load files from all directories
WebCloner will only retrieve files from the selected folder and its subfolders (this practically disables this filter)
- Load using custom configuration (keywords)
WebCloner will retrieve files based on the keyword inclusion/exclusion filters set up in the Directories Keywords section (by looking up the keyword in the name of the folders or subfolders it finds files into). You can enable/disable any of the listed keywords by selecting/deselecting the checkbox in front of it.
Files Filter
When deciding which files to include or exclude from its download list, WebCloner can use the Files Filter to match the names of analyzed files with the inclusion/exclusion keywords or patterns you provide in the Filename Keywords area.
Filename Rules
- Load all files
WebCloner will not match file names against the keywords you have provided.
- Load using custom configuration (keywords)
WebCloner will retrieve files based on the keyword inclusion/exclusion filters set up in the Filename Keywords section (by looking up the keywords/patterns in the name of the files). You can enable/disable any of the listed keywords by selecting/deselecting the checkbox in front of it.
